Who we are

This privacy policy applies to Gemma Holistics, a sole practitioner therapy practice based at Garswood, Warnford, Hampshire SO32 3LH. Data controller: Gemma Avila. Contact: gemma@gemmaholistics.co.uk.

What we collect

When you use this website, we may collect:

  • Enquiry form data: your name, email, phone, therapy of interest, and any information you choose to provide about your health or availability.
  • Technical data: anonymous analytics data via Google Analytics 4 (if enabled), including approximate location, device, and pages visited.

If you become a client, additional information is collected and kept separately as part of your client record – this is covered by our separate client privacy notice given at your first appointment.

Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry (lawful basis: consent, given via the form's consent checkbox).
  • To improve the website via anonymous analytics (lawful basis: legitimate interest).

Who we share it with

Enquiry form data is processed via Web3Forms (our form backend) and delivered to Gemma Holistics by email. Analytics data is processed by Google. Website hosting is provided by Cloudflare. These providers act as data processors and do not use your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become appointments are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. If you become a client, client records are kept for [7 years – TO CONFIRM] in line with professional practice requirements.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please email gemma@gemmaholistics.co.uk.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been handled improperly.
